In response to prescriber requests, Hallandale Pharmacy will be compounding these Flex-Dose products to maximize therapeutic outcomes and enhancing patient compliance. 

Prescribers have indicated that multi-dose vials allow for precision titration, minimize side effects, and offer flexible micro-dosing options (e.g., twice-weekly dosing).

New Prescribing Requirements 

  1. Directions MUST be prescribed in UNITS
    1. Example: Inject 10 units on insulin syringe subcutaneously twice weekly.

Hallandale Pharmacy believes compounding should be responsive to patient-specific needs as determined by prescribing physicians. 

Hallandale Pharmacy has stated they will be considering the following added ingredients:

  • B12
  • Glycine
  • Low-Dose Naltrexone

If you have identified additional patient-specific needs that could be served by other combinations or have specific requests for formulations, please patient support and we will pass that information on to the pharmacy. . You can discuss your needs with our clinical team and we will provide guidance on potential (and available)  options.
